D-Day Diary - June 3rd 1944

SATURDAY 3 JUNE 1944.

Regimental Headquarters and A Squadron 4th/7th Dragoon Guards move to Southampton to start loading.

Sherman Crab flail tanks of B and C Squadrons, Westminster Dragoons, load onto Landing Craft in Stokes Bay.

Tanks if 13th/18th Hussars start loading at Stokes Bay.

East Riding Yeomanry move to Gosport to begin loading.

Staffordshire Yeomanry board their Landing Craft at Newhaven.
